This frame was made with extremely low quality press board for the slates. First time I sat on bed (180lbs) 3 of the slats made a loud crack and snapped. It wasn’t an expensive piece but not happy to pay $360 for a frame that broke first time on bed. I had to spend $300 more on wood to fortify and strengthen the frame I just bought.

The bed frame looks nice but the slats are weak. I made the mistake of sitting down too hard and two slats broke. Fortunately. It will be easy enough to fix.by replacing or adding or replacing the slats with real wood and not cheap plywood,

The bed frame came packed very well and was pretty easy to remove from the large heavy box and put together with assistance. It helped to have a second person to hold the different parts of the frame while you attached them together. The slats fit nicely into the slots on each side of the bed frame and the wood screws seem to be holding the slats well in place once I screwed them in. I do wish that the slats were a bit thicker and wider, but they seem adequate and should hold up fairly well as long as you do not have anyone jumping on the bed. Overall I am happy with this purchase and the color is exactly as advertised. My only recommendation is to buy some felt and glue some circular small pieces to the bottom of the legs and support posts that touch the floor to support the bed frame. We have a wood floor and this bed frame would definitely scratch it if you slid the bed frame around too much.

I bought it due to the low height from the ground. However the weak frame makes the sides of the mattress sink down. Either I will try to return this or I have to get a box frame to make the mattress sturdy when I lay on it.

This platform bed frame is exactly what I needed! It actually made my extra firm mattress feel firmer!! It was really easy to put together! It took less then an hour for my son to put it together. Looks great in my guest room! Very happy with my purchase!
