This beautiful end table is as functional as it is stylish. It captures the warm and inviting rustic design with framed drawers. It has a work center with a file cabinet base. The top pulls out to reveal lap top or media storage. The front tilts open to reveal a lamp top port with internet connection and is topped off with gorgeous metal hardware in a dark brown finish.

Good idea - less than optimal design.
This sliding top table is a great idea, but the design could have used some consumer feedback and be better thought out. It would function better if the tip-out control was on the back instead of the front, (a faux panel on the front would have worked well then) and the center compartment could have taken advantage of the wasted space between the front of the table and rear - it would have been relatively simple to enlarge this area instead of losing the back 8" or so. The unit works great as an end table or lamp table and seems fairly well built. The file drawer is a great idea and can serve as a file or for extra storage.
